You should get at least one more than what they already gave you, if you want to have at least one more person playing with you. Recommended amount is two to four. If your going to buy a PS3 Controller, it would cost you between $39.99 - $54.99, depending on the store. That's pretty good to think that what's next is another great accessory.

If your willing to do anything to your PS3, to make it your dream system, well, you'll have to purchase a big 1920 x 1080 LCD or Plasma TV, and the PS3's HDMI Cable that will connect your PS3 on your Plasma or LCD TV. Home Router (Wired or Wireless)

Of course, you'll want this for internet connectivity to go online and have multiplayer affairs with your challenging opponents. But, you could also connect this to your PlayStation Portable to download games from the internet. Compared to Xbox Live (Silver and Gold), online play is absolutely free! That means you could purchase a basic G Router (more details in store), and won't have to charge money again!

PlayStation 2 Memory Card Adaptor

Not really a BIG buy, but a good purchase. And, it probably works better if you have a PlayStation 2. Yes, as the information page says, PlayStation 3 is backward compatible with almost all PS2 games. Even better, it's pretty cheap too. Around $9.99 - $24.99, depending on the store. Another great feature to this PS2 Memory Card Adaptor is that you don't have to use your old PS2 controllers, since the PS3's controllers can handle PS2 games. And old gamers out there, put your PS1 Games out again, because the PS3 can hold some PS1 games!
