5th GenerationThis is a featured page

If you liked the Fourth Generation systems, you'll love this generations. Watch these great video reviews to learn even more about your favourite old system. You'll see more familiar names like the Sega Saturn, Nintendo 64, Sony PlayStation, Game Boy Color etc.

PlayStation 1: The Start of Something New

Watched High School Musical? Like the first song, Start of Something New? Well, the song applies a lot here. Watch and listen why.

Sega Saturn Review: (Part 1)

Sega Saturn is the one of the first systems without a cartridge. Or CD's. Watch this first part of the review.

Sega Saturn Review: (Part 2)

Once you are done from the first one, you should continue on to here. Games will be reviewed (for this system) as well.

Game Boy Color Review: Started New Things

Note: It starts of with a short clip of the Super Mario Galaxy game for Wii. But then it will come onto the review. It started new gaming series, like Zelda, Pokemon, etc. It was back then a pretty good handheld.

Neo Geo Pocket: Fighting Nintendo

Why did I say "Fighting Nintendo"? This is because the company was trying to compete with the Nintendo Game Boy Color. That's why they made that.

Atari Jaguar: Competing Failure

This isn't your great Atari Jaguar. It's a real failure. This was the next system, after the Atari 7800. This was to compete with the Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo and Game Boy Color.

Virtual Boy: Another Bad System (Part 1)

This was probably Nintendo's worst system, in the fifth generation. Virtual Boy wasn't a popular system, and it's not great either. Watch this review to find a "big" review of a bad system. Part 2 is on the bottom.

Virtual Boy: Another Bad System (Part 2)

Please watch this video to continue on from Part 1 (which is on top). This review talks about the gameplay. Note: You may have some blurry moments during the review.

Summary: Fifth Generation, a great start

The fifth generation is a great start to the new systems and old systems of today. The fifth generation started great systems like the Sony PlayStation, Nintendo series and Game Boy series. Today, you can find Game Boy Micro, PlayStation 3, and Nintendo Wii (and Nintendo DS Lite). Fifth Generation started great 3-D Gaming (for some fifth generation systems).

Overall, this is a great generation. Children back then would've been addicted to the games. And they would've been amazed at the "graphics".
